The turbine flow path modification project aims to enhance unit efficiency, improve economic benefits, and reduce operating costs. SINO-QNP has introduced and fully mastered internationally advanced and mature aerodynamic and thermodynamic design technologies.
Our flow path modification solution includes core technologies such as fully three-dimensional aerodynamic and thermodynamic design, advanced materials and manufacturing processes, high-load twisted moving blades, meridional face-contracted blade rows, and laminar flow blade rows, which achieve flow path expansion and performance enhancement.
This solution is applicable to the entire range of steam turbines, covering subcritical, supercritical, and ultra-supercritical units, ranging from small industrial turbines to large 330MW units.
With extensive engineering application validation, it can achieve stable, measurable modification results, such as reduced heat consumption, decreased coal consumption, and significant efficiency improvements, while effectively enhancing the safety of the units and reasonably extending their service life.
The previous pure hydraulic control system of the old unit is improved with digital electro-hydraulic control system, which can upgrade the steam turbine control system and meet the requirements of flexible configuration of various control strategies.
Three-dimensional design and retrofit of condenser is carried out to reduce the difference of heat transfer end, improve the vacuum degree of exhaust steam and effectively improve the unit economy. The unit is changed from water cooling to air cooling.
SINO-QNP has provided the retrofit service for many power plants to change the extraction condensing unit into extraction back pressure unit, having accumulated rich retrofit experience. SINO-QNP can do deep retrofit of various types of small and medium-sized steam turbine units, so as to improve the steam supply capacity of existing units and the thermal efficiency of power plants, and obtain the best retrofit effect with minimum changes.
1) Steam turbine expansion and retrofit: By optimizing the design of steam inlet passage of steam turbine flow path, the area of flow path is increased, and the capacity of steam inlet and exhaust of the unit is improved, so as to enhance the functional capacity of the unit and increase the economic benefit.
2) Generator expansion and retrofit. The capacity of the generator can be improved by reducing the internal losses of the generator, increasing the heat-resistant grade of the insulating materials and strengthening the ventilation and cooling without changing the volume, speed and voltage grade of the generator.
